John French Bio

As one of the United States' most well known and admired hunter riders, John French hardly needs an introduction. His record includes notable accomplishments such as representing the United States in Nations Cups and FEI World Cup™ Finals, alongside securing victory at the inaugural $100,000 ASG Software Solutions/USHJA International Hunter Derby Finals. In 2012, he won the the prestigious WCHR Lifetime Achievement Award and has clinched the title of World Champion Hunter Rider four times. In 2019, he earned the esteemed title of WCHR Professional National Champion and was honored with induction into the National Show Hunter Hall of Fame in 2020.

In early 2020, French teamed up with Olympic show jumping athlete Kent Farrington and Farrington's assistant, Claudio Baroni, forming a powerhouse training team at KPF. Together, they have developed a formidable Hunter Division, producing top athletes who have achieved impressive results at prestigious events across the country.
