Based in Topeka, Kansas and Ocala, Florida, Hunter was born into a family deeply rooted in the horse industry. Hunter emerged as one of the most successful young riders early in her career, setting records as the youngest ever to win a national standard Grand Prix at just twelve years old. Her Junior years were marked by notable achievements, including the prestigious ASPCA Maclay Championship in 2016, and sweeping all three phases to claim the 2016 Washington International Equitation Championships. In the same year, she clinched the victory in the U25 Jumper Championship at the Pennsylvania National Horse Show.

 

Her junior success seamlessly transitioned into a thriving professional career, highlighted by victories such as the CSI5* AON Cup at Spruce Meadows and the CSI5* $405,300 HITS Grand Prix at HITS Saugerties. She has consistently excelled in Grand Prix competitions, securing wins both domestically and internationally, and representing the US Team in Nations Cup events held in Canada and Germany. Most recently, Hunter earned a podium finish at the 2023 World Cup Finals in Omaha, Nebraska, where she was 3rd.
